Perry has spent his entire professional life serving and caring for people. After completing his undergraduate degree in youth ministry and being ordained in 1996, he served in full time vocational ministry in various roles for over 28 years across all age groups. As a result of his counseling people in a pastoral role, Perry felt called to increase his skill and ability in this area by completing his Master’s degree in Professional Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Perry is a biblically-based, trauma-informed therapist and is EMDR trained, working towards certification.
Perry works with clients from late adolescent and up, both male and female. Of special interest for Perry is working with men and couples who have been stuck in their life through a variety of challenges including traumatic experiences and addictions to pornography. He has witnessed first-hand the destructive nature of these issues on the individual, couples, families, and society and has a passion to help men experience freedom, healing, and hope. As a former Pastor, he also has a heart for, and a unique understanding of the challenges of vocational ministry and has worked with a variety of church leaders and staff alike.
Perry is married with three children and loves spending time around anything with water, specifically scuba and boating, as well as hiking and the outdoors.
Perry works out of the Mesa Greenfield office on Tuesday and Wednesday and the South Scottsdale office on Thursday and Friday.
